Welcome to Cabañas Aliñahui |
|
Aliñahui, which means “beautiful view” in the Quichua language, is a hostel/lodge located at the heart of the Ecuadorian rainforest, in the province of Napo, 150 miles from the city of Quito. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Napo River, a major afluent of the Amazon river and the zone is characterized for its tranquillity and the hospitality of its people, not to mention the exquisite and unique biodiversity in the world (about 560 species of birds). The lodge owns around 130 hectares (321 acres) of land that is divided into primary and secondary forest. We are an eco-lodge that is dedicated to preserve the nature and the biodiversity of the region. That is why we only have rainwater for the bathroom usage and use solar electricity in all of our cabins. But don’t worry because we also have drinking water at the lobby of the lodge and power outlets (110V) to charge batteries or use your laptop! Our mission is the protection and development of the environment, the wildlife, the culture and customs of the region. We believe in a responsable and sustainable development of the Ecuadorian rainforest based on initiatives that promote different projects such as communitary, ecological, and forestal development. We are an environmentally-friendly paradise! |
